Introducing COMPETITION OIL 2189E 75W140
— the first of the NISMO COMPETITION OIL series!


NISMO COMPETITION OIL TYPE 2189E 75W140 is the first product launched from the NISMO COMPETITION OIL series.
NISMO COMPETITION OIL series is a lineup used exclusively in motor sports and developed by MOTUL and NISMO under a firm partnership that started in 2003.
Before its commercialization, it was developed for use in SUPER TAIKYU and D1 Grand Prix races. Emphasis is placed on lubrication performance of the oil under conditions of high temperature and high load. The oil, which is used exclusively in motorsports, improved the performance required in a high-load run by taking the bold step of sacrificing long life in regular run.

■Recommended oil from the L.S.D “GT L.S.D series” manufactured by NISMO

■Applicability of GT-R(R-35)’s car warranty
Car warranty by Nissan Motor Corporation will apply if the oil is used in differential of NISSAN GT (R35）. Change of oil is required after 3000 km in sports race, and every 10,000 km in a regular run.

■100% synthetic-ester based
MOTUL’s ester technology maintains the oil film during high temperature and protects the high-load hypoid gear from abrasion.

■Supports mechanical mode (multiplate mode) LSD
Maintains moderate friction characteristic and possesses excellent anti-judder feature (configured not to emit snapping sound) of the blade.
Also supports all mechanical mode LSD

■High thermal resistance
Little change in friction characteristic during high temperature, and so users can enjoy a stable drive even during sport racing.

■Designed especially for sports
Especially designed for motorsports, the oil improved the performance required in a high-load run by taking the bold step of sacrificing long life in regular run
